This coffee is my normal breakfast. It is very satisfying and only has real food ingredients.
The quality of each ingredient makes a huge difference in the flavor, so go organic and homemade if you have the time and resources to do so. Make sure your coffee is as freshly roasted as you can source and grind it right before you brew it. I made each of these changes above one at a time over a long period of time, so make the most important change to you first if you don’t already use fresh roasted and ground coffee or organic ingredients.
For this recipe I’m using raw local honey, most places should have a good source for this nearby. We have so many options where I live that even our grocery stores stock local honey on their shelves if I can’t make it to the farmer’s market. I like the Winter Honey variety I can get here. It is a little less sweet and I just really like the flavor of it. The more local your honey the more likely it is to help with allergies.
