Packed with Protein. Tastes like a Peanut Butter Cup!
My husband’s job is based on Oahu, but we live on Maui so packing lunches for him can get a little complicated. Some day’s I just can’t find something that he is in the mood for that I can also pack in airplane commuter friendly packaging. One of his days over there when he was fending for himself, he ran across a juice and smoothie place, Lanikai Juice.
He fell in love with a high protein smoothie that they call a Kailua Monkey. He asked me to recreate it so he could have it all the time. Their version has soy milk and I have no idea what type of protein powder they use, but here is what I came up with.
